Biografi for: Cheryl Karen Krohmer
Cheryl Karen Krohmer Walrod went to be with her Lord and Savior July 18, 2017.
Cheryl was born June 23, 1947, in Williston, North Dakota, to Carroll and Carrie Krohmer. She was raised on a farm east of Froid, Montana. She attended school in Froid and graduated in 1965, she attended business school in Billings, Montana.
Cheryl married Jerry Jensen in 1967; they later divorced. She married Dean Walrod in 1970 and moved to Hamilton, Montana, with his son, David. She was an avid bowler for several years until a bad back forced her to quit. She was a member of the Hamilton Eagles and attended Canyon View Church. She and her husband, Dean, were the head coaches of the Hamilton Boxing Club starting in 1975. She was active in USA Boxing in Montana, holding positions such as Vice-President - J.O. Chairman, Registration Chairman, and Secretary. She was also a boxing judge, often going to national competitions. She and her husband loved kids and always said that "there was not such a thing as a bad kid." She also worked with the youth at her church.
Cheryl loved music and always said that when she got to Heaven, she would have a beautiful voice and would sing for the Lord. She truly loved her Lord, her grandchildren, great- grandchildren, her family, friends, her fourth day group, bowling, boxing, and loved to camp and fish and play pinochle.
On April 4. 1980, Dean's son, David, and Cheryl adopted each other.
Waiting for Cheryl in heaven are her husband, Dean; parents; grandparents; brothers: Laverne, Jerry and Dwight; her beloved grandson, Jeremiah; nephew, Donnie; great niece, Crystal; sister-in-law, Shirley; special cousin, Danny and many others.
She is survived by her son, David (Jennifer); grandchildren: Jeffrey and Tia Mees; great grandson, Ethan; daughter, Julie (Rick) Daffin; grandchildren, Jesse (Ginger) Daffin, great grandchildren, Grace & Rebecca, Josh Daffin (Heather), Hailey, Mandy, Ben, Jacob Daffin (Kelsey), Kaden Riley, Oklee; daughter, Dana (Bob) Stoker; grandson, Jimmy (Sarah); great granddaughter, Beth; sister-in law, Patsy Krohmer; niece, Natalie (Andy) Shamley; nephews, Wade (Sue), Mike and Tony Krohmer; special niece, Jacki (Jack) Damm; Dean's brother, Jim (Carol) Walrod; sister–in-law, Dolores Terpstra (John); her very special friend, Bette Jones; her faithful dog, Keesha; her fourth day group, and several nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Canyon View Church in Hamilton.
